We have an excellent opportunity for a full time/every other weekend, Hematology/Blood Bank Supervisor to join our team. Monitor accurate, timely and cost-effective laboratory testing of patient samples to aid in the diagnosis and treatment of disease by performing complex chemical, biological, hematological, immunological and microscopic tests. Responsibilities Provide training. Check competencies. Document fair and objective performance evaluation. Participate in Quality Improvement activities. Review all critical values. Requirements NYSED license required/Laboratory Technologist Certification. Associate Degree in Medical Technology, Biology or Chemistry required. Bachelor's Degree preferred. Minimum of six years' recent experience as a Medical Technologist. Prior experience in a leadership role.
